Evaluating & Selecting
Not-For-Profit Accounting Systems
ASA Research - October 2008

During my lectures on accounting systems throughout the country, I am often asked about accounting system solutions for not-for-profit organizations. To help answer these questions, I have prepared the following report which describes specific accounting system features and functions that are uniquely needed by not-for-profit organizations. I used the top not-for-profit solution Serenic Navigator as the example product in this report. I have been very pleased by the response as hundreds of CPAs and financial professionals have sent numerous e-mails thanking me for this report which has helped them better understand the accounting needs of this unique industry.
